I had the opportunity to capture the many facets of the Ontario Greenbelt's work and significantly build-up their media library. These video series and images were used to support social campaigns, op-eds, news articles, research reports, and more. If I didn't take the image or video myself as labeled below, I acted as producer
on the shoot.
In 2021, in honour of Women's History Month and Ontario Agriculture Week, we launched a series to celebrate female-identifying farmers in the Greenbelt. Due to positive reception, it became an annual series and from 2021-2023, I produced each series.
My roles included subject research, interviewer, location scout, editor, videographer and campaign manager.
After three years working with the Greenbelt, I noticed a gap in our storytelling. We had yet to highlight the community members who use and rely on the greenspace for recreation purposes. Over 76 million people visit this region per year and I felt that was an important statistic to bring to life in a video series.
My roles as the producer of this series included subject and vendor research, location scout, interviewer, co-director and campaign manager.

During my time with the Greenbelt, I led the online storytelling for their 48K+ collective audiences across Instagram, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn. This included strategy, planning, copywriting, and the development of visuals.
Over my three years, I facilitated a 10K+ organic follower growth across channels and played a central role in executing an educational campaign that received two national level 2022 Awards of Excellence by the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS).
I am deeply grateful to live and work on the traditional land of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples. This region is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.
As a storyteller for the natural world, I am equally inspired by and dedicated to sharing the invaluable perspectives and traditional ecological knowledge that Indigenous communities hold.
